Chapter 2The Underground Parking Garage

She poured out to him three years of grievances she had never told anyone; he simply listened, quietly. A few meals arranged, a few coffees. That day he drove her home, and in the mall’s underground parking garage, just as she was speaking ill of her husband, he suddenly leaned over. She instinctively wanted to push him away — and in the end wrapped her arms around his neck.
